Indian Railways had conducted First Trials on Delhi to Mumbai route on 1st August 2016.
It departed New Delhi Station at 19:55 & reached Mumbai Central Station at 11:36 the next day.
This Talgo Trial was supposed to be on 130 kmph all along the route but it ran on 130 kmph till ST only.
It took 15 hr 41 min for the trial to complete but the expected time was 12 - 13 hr.
It ran late due to Heavy rains in Mumbai as well as Gujarat, Point Failure near MTJ & Wash out near VAPI. But the Talgo Trial succeeded in its First run.
However it overtook 12954 August Kranti Rajdhani at DRD (Though it was scheduled to be behind it) & was behind 12952 Rajdhani.
It was expected that Talgo Train would pass BHY @ 07:55 it passed @ 11:02, Almost 4 hrs late.
